# Colocation for the GPU servers you own

We find a U.S. data center that fits your servers, put the contract in your name, and handle setup and operations.

## What GPU servers need

An 8-GPU HGX server draws 10-15 kW, far more than a typical rack. You need high-density cabinets with enough power, backup power and cooling, and room to keep a cluster together. Rack-scale systems like [GB300 NVL72](https://managedgpus.com/gb300-nvl72) also need liquid cooling.

## Ballpark colocation costs

- **Typical rate:** $240-325 per kW a month
- **One B300 server:** $4-5K a month
- **Contract:** Usually 3 years
- **Time to get space:** About 4 weeks to 6 months

We take no cut of the colocation. [How to read a colocation contract](https://www.amcompute.com/blog/colocation-contracts-for-gpu-clusters)

## What we handle

- **Finding the site.** We compare options on price, power, timing, and location.
- **The contract.** We check power, service levels, and terms before you sign.
- **Installation.** Delivery, racking, cabling, and testing.
- **Operations.** Monitoring, remote hands, repairs, and warranty claims.

## We guide. You decide.

1. **Scope it.** Tell us your workload, budget, and timeline. You get a plan and ballpark costs. One call.
2. **We build it.** We compare vendors and data centers side by side. You pick, and we handle the rest in your name. 60-90 days typically.
3. **We run it.** Monitoring, repairs, and warranty claims, on an annual contract. Ongoing.

## Tell us what you need to host.

- A call with our CTO about what you need
- Ballpark costs and timelines for your budget
- A straight answer if it’s not a fit

## Colocation questions

**Can I bring servers I already own?**

Yes. We place them and run them the same way.

**Do you mark up the colocation?**

No. You sign with the data center and pay it directly.

**Where can the servers go?**

Anywhere in the U.S. with the right capacity. We compare sites on price, power, and timing.

**How long does it take to get space?**

From about four weeks to six months, depending on the site.
